This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on WP Commission’s website and our apps and plugins for WordPress and any other platforms.
Information we collect
When creating an account or purchasing a license, you will be asked to enter an email address and a password. Email addresses are only used for logging in and password resets. We don’t send promotional emails.
If you enable notifications or automatic updates, we must store a token to send them. This means your computer(s) may be recognized by WPCommission.com. We never use this cookie for marketing.
We store information about your license and your domain name(s) on our servers, but we do not store (or ever receive) your billing information. We also collect anonymous statistics about WP Commission usage to further improve our product linking engine.
Plugin analytics WP Commission’s WordPress plugin may provide aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who click on product links or the most popular types of product links or product imagery, to us for analysis and improvement of our platform for the benefit of all Customers. Crash reports may also be collected and forwarded to us.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support. We do not share your personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish WP Commission’s functionality.
We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as:
- Click-through rates for products.
- Customer engagement with product links, imagery, carousels, or other placements.
We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS, and passwords are not stored: they are hashed using advanced, well-researched methods. Data private to you, namely your Associated ID, is stored locally on your server or cloud instance. We perform Amazon API calls using secure methods.

You may access or change your information or uninstall your plugin at any time.
Third-party links and content
Links generated by WP Commission point to third-party retailers not affiliated by or endorsed by, or endorsing, us. Both your website(s) and retailers have their own independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content or activities.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
Information for European Union Customers
By using WP Commission and providing your information, you authorize us to collect, use, and store your information outside of the European Union.
International Transfers of Information
Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
